A part of my summer job with 350.org this summer was a one week training program in Minneapolis. In this Vlog I show you how I travel on a vegan diet, work out, and go grocery shopping. I also reveal take a tour of a local Indian Restaurant growing fruits and vegetables in their basement!
Today we visited The Herbivorous Butcher, which is a vegan 'butchery' in Minneapolis, MN. We walked away with a variety of items, including the Korean Jerky, BBQ Ribs, Korean Ribs, Pepperoni, and Chicken. We also show you a 'cheese and meat' tray we made with some of the items we purchased, as well as a mock 'chicken' salad put together for leftovers the next day with diced orange bell pepper, olive oil, hemp seeds, ground coriander seeds, crushed black pepper, freshly squeezed lime juice, 'buffalo' chicken, and 'cheese' cubes. The 'chicken' was done with a flash sear using 2 tbsp coconut oil, hot sauce, paprika, black pepper, coriander seed, sun-dried tomatoes, and lastly garnished with a generous amount of hemp seeds.
